Ethical charter

The association exists for public benefit. It does not distribute profit. Any surplus is applied to the gardens, the education programme or the infrastructure reserve.

Officers serve without remuneration. No officer may award a contract to a related person; the supervisory commission reviews all contracts above 20 000 CZK.

We practise and teach ecological cultivation. Synthetic pesticides are prohibited on communal land. Water is used sparingly and rainwater retention is required on new structures.

Participation is open. Meetings are open to members, minutes are available to the public, the waiting list is published, and no applicant is refused on grounds of origin, ethnicity, age, gender, disability, belief or social standing.

Personal data is collected only as required to administer membership and is processed in accordance with the GDPR and Czech law.

Where we are wrong, we correct it publicly, at the next assembly and in writing.
